Abstract Artimus is an American music composer and performer from the deep South of the USA currently living in Brooklyn,NY. He was born Artimus Alexander Pace, June 21st, 1983, in Jacksonville, Florida. After quitting the band, his father moved the family back to his home town of Mobile, Alabama. Much of Artimus's early life consisted of going to his father's rock shows as well as local and national concerts. As Artimus grew into his teens, he formed several locally successful bands and toured nationally and regionally frequently. Over the summer of 2006 he devised what would become the first incarnation of Abstract Artimus. Their first show was as a supporting act for Gwar in his home town of Mobile, AL. In 2015 Artimus released ‘The City Arrives’ to critical acclaim on Madrid's Subterfuge Records. In April 2018 he released ‘When The Beast Is After Me’ on Brooklyn based Dire Life Records. He currently resides in Brooklyn, NY and continues to release albums and tour the world with different incarnations of the band.
